Q: HOW MUCH RECORDING TIME WILL I GET ?

A: All systems record approximately 30 days. If additional recording time is needed, extra storage can be added providing upwards of a year worth of backup.

Q: DO I NEED A STATIC IP ?

A: In order to view your camera remotely a static IP is not required, although if you have extra static IP’s available we can utilize one of the addresses.

Q: IS REMOTE VIEW REQUIRED ?

A: Although all of our systems come with remote view capabilities, this feature is optional.

Q: DO I NEED A HIGH SPEED INTERNET CONNETION ?

A: Yes, high speed is required at the business location to view the camera remotely.

Q: ARE YOUR CAMERAS WIRELESS ?

A: The majority of our cameras are wired directly to the head end. However, we do offer some wireless applications that need to be assessed on site prior to installation.

Q: IS YOUR SYSTEM A DIGITAL VIDEO RECORDER (DVR) ?

A: No, our systems are digitally recorded onto a Windows based server, which is a DVS. This system is far superior to a DVR because our recorded footage is just as clear as the live view. A server based unit provides a hybrid solution that allows the use of megapixel cameras as well as analog cameras. Features such as object searching and thumbnail previews provide a simplistic and efficient method of retrieving recorded footage, allowing the user to retrieve footage within seconds rather than hours.

Q: CAN I USE MY EXISTING CAMERAS ?

A: Yes and no. If your cameras have a BNC connection or run off RG59 coax, then we can use them. If your cameras have a phone-like connection, we cannot use them.

Q: DO YOU OFFER FINANCING ?

A: Yes. We are a preferred vendor of Marlin Leasing, a national leasing company that specializes in surveillance equipment. One to five year leases are available with $1 buyout at the end of the lease.

Q: CAN YOU COMBINE INSIDE AND OUTSIDE CAMERAS ON THE SAME SYSTEM ?

A: Yes. Our outside cameras are installed in a heated weatherproof housing. Most of our business owners have both inside and outside cameras.

Q: DO YOUR CAMERAS HAVE ZOOM CAPABILITIES ?

A: Yes. Every camera can be digitally zoomed into on the recorded footage. Our Pan Tilt Zoom (PTZ) cameras can be zoomed in up to 600 yards optically live with no pixel loss.

Q: ARE AUDIO ZONES AVAILABLE ?

A: Yes. Microphones are used as an extremely valuable tool, providing owners with the ability to hear interaction between customers and employees.
